A Closer Look at Your Earnings

RE/MAX Excellence associates have the option to earn up to 100% commission on every sale. In return, for all the office administration and marketing support, you are asked to pay a contribution towards these services each month. This is the 'desk fee' that our competitors perceive as being untenable and unaffordable. Your own office may have tried to apply this fear factor to you and your sales colleagues?

Nothing could be further from the truth. We prefer to call this monthly contribution our ‘shared office expense' this monthly charge will be far less than the one you are already paying. Yes, that's correct – you are already paying a desk fee where you are but you just haven't recognised it! Think about every commission you earn and the 50 %( or more for some agents) that you hand back to your principal? Very expensive desk fee!

The RE/MAX Excellence system is transparent. Our commission options allow you to start at your comfort level and grow at your own speed. 50/50; maybe 70/30; or up to 100% - your choice!!

If you are like most agents in a traditional office, you will often look at your pay cheque in dismay and ask "is it all really worth it?"

Events and Training

The RE/MAX Excellence system is built upon the idea that the salesperson is the single most important part of our organisation. In support of that core concept, RE/MAX Excellence endeavours to provide as many events and training occasions as possible, to help recognise the importance of our members and grant them the opportunity to learn from one another.

RE/MAX Excellence prides itself on a culture of teamwork and idea-sharing. For this reason our events not only focus on motivation and education, but also on networking and collaboration while on the path to personal growth and outstanding results.

Annual RE/MAX Australasian Convention

Lasting for three days, the annual Australasian Convention is the biggest event on the RE/MAX calendar for members both in Australia and New Zealand. Each year the convention attracts hundreds of agents and brokers from across the two nations. Those attending are treated to deliveries from world class speakers, who actively engage our members on topical issues such as advances in technology, personal motivation, stress management and balancing work and lifestyle. The Convention also features an Awards Night which recognises the achievements of RE/MAX Australia's top –performers over the previous year. Importantly, a portion of the Convention is also allocated to fun nights and formal dinners to allow our members to relax, enjoy some time with their friends and colleagues, and take the opportunity to network with one another.

International Convention

Each year RE/MAX International hosts a Convention for RE/MAX members worldwide – this draws an annual attendance of approximately 15,000 people! Rotating between Las Vegas, San Diego and Orlando, much like the Australasian Convention, the International Convention features the industry's top guest speakers, training and entertainment.

High Achievers

To recognise and support RE/MAX Australia's high achievers, every 6 months members who have settled in excess of $150,000 in commissions during the previous 6 month period are invited to a variety of special functions which feature industry-best speakers and trainers. This is designed to assist our best people to become better and to continue their winning ways.

Sales Rallies

Motivation is the key to becoming a top-performing salesperson. Although a large portion of motivation needs to come from within, RE/MAX is eager to do whatever it can to stoke that fire within our members. With that in mind, RE/MAX Australia regularly hosts State-based Sales Rallies to motivate and challenge our members with top speakers and local success stories – helping to raise both expectations and results.

RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships

RE/MAX has been the worldwide naming sponsor of this major international event since 1995. In Australia and across the globe, golfers compete in state and national qualifying events in an attempt to win a spot at the World Finals held in Nevada, USA each October. Anyone can enter this event – you do not have to be a RE/MAX member or professional golfer. The event has several categories including juniors, men's, women's, seniors and super seniors divisions.

Community Events

Both centrally, and through our individual franchise offices, RE/MAX Australia is frequently involved in community events – particularly those involving our major charity partner, Camp Quality. Camp Quality is an outstanding not-for-profit organisation which runs ongoing recreational and education programs for children living with cancer and their families. Since 1999, RE/MAX has raised more than $500,000 for Camp Quality, through donations from our members and wide-variety of creative fundraising initiatives.

Orientation Training

Each new member of the RE/MAX Australia family undertakes a full-day Orientation Course. The course covers all of the systems, policies, procedures and philosophy's of the world s most successful real estate franchise network.
